Invest NI announce Micro-Business Ecommerce Grant
Invest NI have announced further government funding to support micro businesses moving online. Open for applications from 6pm Tuesday 2 February 2021, the COVID-19 Micro-business E-commerce Grant is specifically designed to help micro-business retailers develop their sales online.
What is it?
The Covid-19 Micro Business E-Commerce Grant has been made available to allow businesses to adjust to the ongoing restrictions and current closure of our high streets and help them grow online sales longer term.
Who is it for?
The grant is available to Micro-Businesses employing less than 10 people, with retail premises and which derive the majority of their turnover from retail customers.
What is available?
Businesses can access up to £5,000 to support 80% of eligible costs towards hiring agencies like ourselves to help with e-commerce related services. This could be for an e-commerce build or to further develop your existing e-commerce business online.
Are you eligible?
The Micro-business E-commerce Grant is open for application to all small or medium sized retailers or wholesalers looking to grow their business online. The scheme is currently operating on a first come first served basis.

How to apply
The grant is being managed by Invest NI and is now open for applications until 6pm on Friday 12 March 2021 (or before if budget runs out).
