We are Myth. We develop digital solutions for a wide range of exciting clients both locally and internationally. We’re a fun place to work but we do work hard. We’re looking for a passionate, ambitious Front-End Developer (React/React-Native) with experience developing using React Native and to join our growing team.

You'll play a lead role in the strategy and development of new client projects. You'll be responsible for maintaining our current project base, engaging with new projects and allowed time to collaborate on internal project ideas as part of our internal product team, Myth Labs. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small team with big plans in a role with growth potential. Salary: £40,000 — £45,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

What you'll do

  • Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

  • Build modern, responsive web applications using React.

  • Integrate APIs and services seamlessly into mobile and web applications.

  • Translate UI/UX designs into polished, functional, and performant code.

  • Work within an Agile environment, contributing to project planning, design, and delivery.

  • Maintain, improve, and expand our existing front-end projects.

  • Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and accessibility.

  • Contribute to Myth Labs projects with creative ideas and prototypes.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience building and shipping apps in React Native (iOS & Android).

  • Strong React skills for modern web applications.

  • Solid understanding of integrating RESTful APIs.

  • A keen eye for UI detail, with the ability to translate Figma/designs into high-quality implementations.

  • Good understanding of version control (Git).

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

  • A passion for staying ahead of front-end trends and emerging technologies.

What you'll code

  • React Native apps for iOS and Android.

  • React web applications.

  • Integrations with RESTful APIs and third-party services.

  • Reusable, maintainable front-end components and libraries.

  • Cross-platform UI solutions that balance design fidelity with performance.

What we see as a bonus

  • Experience with app store deployment (Apple App Store / Google Play).
  • Experience with Expo for React Native development.

  • Knowledge of TypeScript in React and React Native projects.

  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g. Redux).

  • Experience working with design systems and component libraries.

  • Experience communicating technical concepts directly with clients.
