We partnered with Newell to develop a brand new online store with click and collect functionality to impact the affects of Covid-19 restrictions and provide the brand with a digital platform for future growth. We also designed and developed a mobile app for on-the-go ordering and skip the queue as well as a custom loyalty system for managing collected points. The entire system includes a software layer for pairing with their in store POS and stock management systems.
Both the website and mobile app development were developed to build a new digital infrastructure for Newell to grow effectively. Moving from a simple brochure website to a fully functional online shop and mobile app ordering platform was a big ask.
We worked with the client to established a phased approach to bring each of their departments online one at a time and worked with them to build the online store around their current processes. Integrating into their point of sale, existing loyalty software and building a custom payment gateway to pair with existing till systems.
